Welcome to Treble Clef Ladies’ Choir

Treble Clef Choir is a four part harmony, ladies, community choir. We perform a range of different styles of music including classical pieces, musical theatre, gospel, folk and contemporary music.

There are around 40 of us and we all love to sing. To hear us see our video on the ‘About us’ page.

We rehearse every Monday evening at 8 pm in the main hall of the St James Parish Centre, Weybridge. We are conducted by our Musical Director Emily Leather and accompanied by Hannah Stanley. We are currently rehearsing for our Christmas concert (see side panel).

We perform several times a year and have sung at many prestigious venues, including Hampton Court Palace, Wisley Gardens, Royal Holloway College, Royal Albert Hall and Rochester and Winchester cathedrals. We are also very keen to raise money for worthwhile causes and have raised money for many local charities.

Our recent come and sing event in September was an enjoyable evening and several ladies have joined us. If you missed the evening you are always welcome to come to our Monday rehearsals a little before 8 O’clock so that we can introduce you to a few ladies before we start rehearsing

During lockdown we had fun making a remote video of “It Don’t Mean a Thing”.

Music by Duke Ellington, Lyrics by Irving Mills and arranged by Mac Huff.

Many thanks to our acting MD Lesley Paterson, our accompanist Hannah Stanley and Jamie Bland for editing the audio and video so well.

Previously…….

In July we were delighted to join with 6 other local choirs at the ACS, Cobham to perform a Concert to raise funds for Ukranian support. This amazing evening raised over £10,000 and we were thrilled to be involved in such a tremendous evening.

Beaconsfield festival

Our trip to Beaconsfield Festival took place on March 5th and although we were depleted by Covid and other illness 23 of us participated and we had a great time. It was so good to be together with other choirs all doing what we like to do. Enjoying singing!
